Description General description 2-Propanol is a secondary alcohol, which can find a wide number of applications as a solvent. Application 2-Propanol may be used as an extraction solvent for the liquid-liquid extraction of acyclovir from human serum, which may be analyzed using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).
