Description General description A cell-permeable and reversible version of the Akt Inhibitor VI, Akt-in (Cat. No. 124013) fused with the protein transduction domain TAT. Selectively inhibits the phosphorylation of Akt selectively in HEK 293 and QRsP-11 fibrosarcoma cells stimulated with PDGF (complete inhibition at ~50 µM) with minimal inhibition towards PKA, PKC, PDK1, p42/44 MAPK, or p38 MAPK. Shown to prevent the proliferation of T4 cells and tumor growth in syngeneic C57BL/6 mice at 2 µM/mouse without any adverse effect.
