Description_x000D_ General description_x000D_ Anti-Histone Deacetylase 11 (HDAC11) is developed in rabbit using a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues 2-16 of human HDAC11 with an N-terminal added cysteine, conjugated to KLH, as immunogen. Histone deacetylase 11 (HDAC11) belongs to the class IV member of the histone deacetylase (HDAC) family. It is mainly expressed in brain, heart, skeletal muscle, kidney, testis, immune cells and cancer cells. HDAC11 has a molecular weight of 39 kDa. The protein consists of one catalytic domain and is found in a complex with HDAC6. This gene is mapped to human chromosome 3p25._x000D_ Immunogen_x000D_ synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 2-16 of human HDAC11 with an N-terminal added cysteine, conjugated to KLH. It also modulates type I interferon (IFN) signalling.
