Tensin 2 induces growth inhibition and apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines. Tensin 2 interacts directly with deleted in liver cancer 1 (DLC1), a tumor suppressor protein often deleted and downregulated in HCC cell lines and other types of cancers.
