Description General description Mouse monoclonal antibody generated by immunizing mice with the specified immunogen and fusing splenocytes with NS1 mouse myeloma cells (see application references). Recognizes both the ~27 kDa glycosylated and the ~24 kDa unglycosylated forms of TIMP-3. Recognizes the ~27 kDa glycosylated and the ~24 kDa non-glycosylated forms of TIMP-3. Does not cross-react with TIMP-1 or TIMP-2 in CaCO-2 and HEK293 cell and eye tissue. This Anti-TIMP-3 Mouse mAb (136-13H4) is validated for use in Frozen sections, Immunoblotting, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, Paraffin sections for the detection of TIMP-3. Immunogen Human a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 170-188 of human TIMP-3 Application Frozen sections (2-10 µg/ml) Immunoblotting (5 µg/ml) Immunofluorescence (not recommended) Immunoprecipitation (not recommended) Paraffin sections (10 µg/ml, heat pre-treatment required, see application references) Physical form In 100 mM sodium phosphate buffer, 0.1% BSA, pH 7.0. Reconstitution Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Legal Information Manufactured by Daiichi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. Not available for sale in Japan. Packaging 100 μg in Plastic ampoule Please refer to vial label for lot-specific concentration. Warning Toxicity: Standard Handling (A) Analysis Note Positive Control 293 or Caco-2 cells or unfixed eye tissue Other Notes Anand-Apte, B., et al. 1997. Invest. Ophthalmol. Vis. Sci.38, 817.
