Description_x000D_ General description_x000D_ Bupropion is structurally linked to the phenylethylamine family. It is a monocyclic aminoketone (chloropropiophenone)._x000D_ Application_x000D_ Bupropion hydrochloride has been used as an anti-depressant and injected into mice intraperitoneally for forced swim test. It has also been used to study its effects on depression, anxiety and smoking cessation._x000D_ Packaging_x000D_ 1 g in poly bottle_x000D_ 50, 250 mg in poly bottle_x000D_ Biochem/physiol Actions_x000D_ Bupropion possesses antidepressant and anxiolytic properties.
