Description General description C8-BTBT is a conducting polymer with [1]benzothieno[3,2-b][1]- benzothiophene (BTBT) as the base material for the development of air-stable semiconductors. It can form a spin coated thin film that can be used as a p-type semiconductor with charge mobility of 43 cm2V-1s-1. It exhibits highly ordered self-assembled monolayer (SAM) on graphene and hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). Application C8-BTBT is a conjugating polymer that can be used in a variety of organic electronics based applications which includes organic photovoltaic cells (OPV), organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic thin film transistors (OTFTs).
