Description General description Glassy carbon shows only short range order in its structure. Photoacoustic doppler effect from the suspension of spherical carbon particles was investigated. Glassy carbon exhibits a specific conductivity of 700Scm-1. 4 Application Amorphous carbon may be used to develop zero temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) based systems. Glassy carbon has been used as a catalyst support for bimetallic Rh–ReOx.
