Description General description Di(ethylene glycol) ethyl ether (2-(2-Ethoxyethoxy)ethanol, CARBITOL™, Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether[5], Ethyldiglycol, diEGEE[5]) is an ethylene oxide-based glycol ether solvent.[5] Di(ethylene glycol) ethyl ether is a glycol ether.
