Description_x000D_ General description_x000D_ The insulin gene is mapped to human chromosome 11p15.5._x000D_ Application_x000D_ Insulin from bovine pancreas has been used in endometrium cell culture. It has also been used to perform insulin tolerance test and to study the effect of protein undernutrition in laying hens._x000D_ Insulin from bovine pancreas was used during experimental design and treatments.
