Description General description Methyl oleate can be obtained as one of the products of transesterification of triolein with methanol in the presence of potassium carbonate loaded onto alumina as catalyst. Application Methyl oleate can undergo hydrogenation over zinc oxide to form oleyl alcohol. Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique.
