It can also be prepared by flame spray pyrolysis (FSP) by utilizing the precursor solution of aluminum sec-butoxide and palladium acetylacetonate. Application Pd/Al2O3 can be used as a catalyst in the enantioselective hydrogenation reaction. It can also be potentially used in the formation of an automotive catalytic converter to improve the air quality of urban environments.
