Description General description Phenazine ethosulfate is a cationic dye and a chemical electron acceptor. It is used in dye-linked enzyme assays.[3] At a high pH, the dye produces free radicals, which may be the actual electron acceptors.[2][4] Application Phenazine ethosulfate has been used: • in the spectrophotometric assessment of Plasmodium falciparum lactate dehydrogenase activity[1] • to study the use of the dye during culture of embryos on fetal and postnatal calf development[5] • to test and validate a fluorescence approach to quantify lipid content of individual bovine oocytes and blastocysts[6] Packaging 1, 5 g in glass bottle
