Description General description • Polymer architecture: Dendron • Generation: 3 • Core functional group: Biotin • End Group Functionality: NHBoc • No. Surface Groups: 8 • Calculated Mol. Wt.: 2602.9 g/mol • Bis-MPA = 2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid Application Bis-MPA dendritic molecules are based on 2,2-Bismethylolpropionicacid (bis-MPA) building blocks. The hydrolysable linkers presented in this type of polymers allows their degradation into byproducts that can be reabsorbed by the body or into excretable non-toxic small molecules. Therefore, this group of dendritic polymers are biocompatible and biodegradable, making them suitable for biomedical applications. The NHBoc-functionalized corona and Biotin-functionalized core of this product can be readily used in bioconjugation reactions.
