Description General description RESOMER® polymers are bioresorbable aliphatic polyesters comprised of a range of different ratios of lactide and glycolide monomers, PLA stereochemistries, and end-group functionalization. These biodegradeable homopolymers and copolymers of lactide and glycolide afford a variety of properties that range from very stiff, hard semi-crystalline materials with long degradation times, to softer, amorphous materials with faster degradation rates. Application Controlled release Electrospun Resomer® X 206 S blended with cellulose from bagasse can be used as a scaffold in tissue engineering. Features and Benefits Controlled release of bioactive agents, sutures and bioabsorbable implantable devices. Legal Information Product of Evonik RESOMER is a registered trademark of Evonik Rohm GmbH
