Description_x000D_ General description_x000D_ This electrophoresis unit has been specifically designed to allow quick and convenient screening of PCR products. When using a 96 well PCR machine, all samples can be screened on a single gel. Loading is simple using a standard multichannel pipette._x000D_ The unit is constructed of 12 mm thick acrylic to prevent warping and is supplied with a UV transparent tray for easy visualization. For varying sample numbers a range of alternative combs can be used. As there are 12 comb positions, up to 624 samples can be separated on a single gel._x000D_ Includes base unit, safety lid, one standard casting tray for 25 x 30 cm gels, and two combs, 1.0 mm x 26 sample wells.
